Kassandra

From my Solo Exhibition KALEID which premiered at TAG Gallery (2021).

A Trojan Priestess. The God Apollo became enamored with her – and she promised him favors in return for the gift of prophecy. Kassandra, after receiving Apollo’s gift, went back on her word and refused the god…Apollo spit in her mouth – which cursed her that – although she would see the future – no one would believe her prophecies. She foresaw the destruction of the City of Troy.
